Headlamps…

Did you know that 40% of traffic fatalities take place at night even though there's 60% less traffic?

Obviously, proper visibility is important for safe driving; especially at night. So, what can you do to help your night vision? Besides making sure you have good wiper blades to keep your windshield clean, make certain that both the high and low beams are working properly on your headlights. There are two key elements to check: the head lamp or bulb and the lens.

Over time, headlamps can go dim and need to be replaced. You should have them inspected at least once a year by your qualified Service Technician so that you do not run into any safety issues.

Also, don't forget the headlamp lens. Plastic lenses can get cloudy or yellow and block a lot of your light that should be on the road where you need it. Sometimes these lenses have to be replaced but in many cases they can be repaired which is generally less expensive.

So keep in mind that if you are going to be driving at night, new bulbs and restored lenses will help you light up the road like a new car.
