Seat Filters
Seat filters! At first blush, it may seem like seat filters fit in the same category as blinker fluid – a silly joke. But, alas, there is such a thing as seat filters.
For vehicles equipped with climate controlled seats, air is gently blown through the seat bottom and back. The fan that blows the air is located under the seat, where dust bunnies, cookie crumbs, and forgotten French fries go to die. So there is a filter that cleans the air before it passes through the blower and into the seats, keeping them from becoming clogged up and preventing damage to the blower.
Your owner’s manual will have a recommendation for when you should replace the filters in your seats. If you notice that the air flow in your climate controlled seats has slowed down or stopped, it could be that your seat filter has become clogged.
We can replace your dirty seat filter along with your other important filters. Your cabin air filter cleans out dust, pollen, and other contaminants before they get into the passenger compartment. Of course, your engine air filter is critical in protecting your very expensive engine.
We want to help keep your vehicle running right and the ride as comfortable as possible. Ask us to check your filters next time you come in.
